What we collect

We only collect information you choose to send us. That includes details submitted through the custom trip request form (such as your name, email, destinations, dates, group size, travel type, budget level and any requests) and the email address you give when subscribing to our newsletter.

How we use it

To reply to your custom trip request and prepare a plan.
To send occasional newsletter updates, if you subscribed.
To understand and improve how the planner is used.

We do not sell your personal information.

Form handling

Form submissions are processed through our hosting provider’s form service. Their handling of submitted data is subject to their own privacy terms, which the site owner should reference here once confirmed.

Cookies and analytics

The site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and which pages and offers people use, with IP addresses anonymised. It runs only on planasiatrips.com, not on previews. No analytics data is sold, and it is kept separate from the advertising measurement described below.

Advertising measurement (Meta). When we run ads on Facebook or Instagram, the site may use the Meta Pixel and Meta’s Conversions API to learn which ads lead to visits and purchases. Nothing from Meta loads unless you tap “OK” on the cookie notice; “No thanks” keeps it off, and you can change your mind by clearing this site’s data in your browser. With your consent we share with Meta: the pages you view, that you started a checkout or bought a pass and its price, Meta’s own cookie identifiers, your browser’s user agent and IP address, and your email address in hashed (one-way encrypted) form so Meta can match the purchase to an ad. Your trip details, dates and pass link are never shared. Meta processes this under its own privacy policy.

Free sample

If you ask for a free sample day, we keep your email address and the city you chose so we can send it, plus one follow-up email about three days later. The first email has a link to skip the follow-up, and buying a pass cancels it automatically. We send nothing else from that request, and we don’t sell or share the address.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in each email. To ask what information we hold, or to request its deletion, contact us through the custom trip request form on the homepage.

Changes

We may update this page from time to time. The date of any material change should be recorded here.
